New recruit!

We are delighted to announce that Jan Croxson has joined us at DML.

 

Jan joins us with a wealth of experience having first worked at the legendary John Noel Management Agency where she developed stars like Dermot O’Leary and Kate Thornton, amongst others.  Following that she was head hunted to start Princess Talent Management, which she built up over eight years into a very successful agency representing stars like Vernon Kay.

Tom Kime was over from Sydney recently for the London Book Fair where he was demonstrating delicious recipes from his award winning books. He will also be appearing on Ready Steady Cook in Australia this summer and has just agreed a new book deal with Kyle Cathie.

Alys Fowler recently appeared in Harper’s Bazaar magazine and has also agreed a new book deal with Kyle Cathie. She’ll be appearing at the Gardener’s World Live Show this summer (10th – 14th June) and has continued writing a blog on the Gardener’s World website. And keep an ear out for her on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.

Tony Tobin has renewed his contract endorsing Cannon cookers for a further two years.

Tony Tobin and Sophie Grigson showed off their dancing skills on BBC1’s Let’s Dance for Comic Relief recently and Tony will be back in his dancing shoes for Red Nose Day 2009 on BBC1 this Friday, 13th March from 7pm. Don’t miss it!

The Richard Fox & Neil Morrissey brand of Blonde Ale continues to generate huge sales in Tesco and has been named as the official beer for this year’s Comic Relief.

Jo Pratt continues to write her seasonal recipes for The Mail on Saturday’s Weekend Magazine.

December has been a busy month! Here are some of the happenings at Deborah McKenna!

Jo Pratt has just been signed to promote Tenderstem Broccoli. She will be developing recipes for them and will be acting as their ambassador throughout 2009. In addition, Jo has also renewed her contract with Rosemount Wine and will be presenting their Taste Awards next year.

If you didn’t catch Aiden Byrne on BBC’s Celebrity Eggheads last week, fear not as he will be appearing on 2009’s Great British Menu, also with the BBC. He will be representing the North West and competing against the rest of Britain’s best regional chefs.
